I'm Olivier Courtois, Head of Product @ comet & Startup Advisor. You are receiving this email because you signed up to productverse, a weekly newsletter about Product Management. Thank you for being here. If this email was forwarded to you, subscribe here  🚀

1️⃣ A controversial essay on crafting products that are too simple... should we make our users think more? I sometimes recommend it, either because it's part of a delightful experience like Snap or because you want your users to become better at a key activity. Doing so, you should try to leverage the Ikea Effect #empowerment #ux

2️⃣ Each kind of product work involves different objectives and frameworks (feature work, growth work, scaling work, expanding product market fit). Take a step back and ask yourself: is your team working on the right problem with the right framework? After reading this article I know I changed a few things at comet #strategy

3️⃣ Discover the Adjacent User Theory that helped Instagram and Pinterest grow. As explained in the previous link, product market fit is not really a state but a spectrum, you should always try to capture its full potential #growth

4️⃣ 52 free resources to learn Product Design. I wish I had such a collection as a beginner to start in product thinking, interaction design & visual design. If you are just starting, make sure take a look at it #execution #design

5️⃣ The high output founders' library is a collection of links for early stage startups founders & employees. The range of topics is impressive but I'd recommend for PM to check the self, meetings, product sections. If you plan to start your own company one day, be sure to bookmark it #entrepreneur #tactic

See you next week!
Olivier

Psst!! This was the first edition and I'll be experimenting a bit to get the format right. Please let me know what you'd like to read more/less about by replying to this email.
