1️⃣ Sustainable Product Strategy: How to Move from Outputs to Outcomes • March 2020 • 7 min read
A great description on how to gradually move to an outcome based methodology. I especially agree with starting from the company vision, measured by a north star metric and defining a few key outcomes. I can't stress enough the importance of choosing leading indicators and making small bets #datainformed #process
2️⃣ Basic Prioritization Questions (and When to Converge on a Solution) • Aug 2020 • 5 min read
Some questions collected by John Cutler and built as a simple visual framework to drive productive team conversations about each opportunity. Useful to assess how valuable they are, and choose how to progress with each one #planning #shaping
3️⃣ Some interview questions I would ask Product Managers • Jan 2020 • 3 min read
If you are hiring product managers, I definitely suggest to have a look at Hà Phan twitter thread to find inspiration. Almost all of them are worth asking. Actually all her tweets are worth the time #hiring
4️⃣ How To Write Great Microcopy • May 2020 • 4 min read
Most people don't have a copywriter in the team, and improvise (I know we do at comet). If you are like us, here is a collection of 40 very actionable tips to improve your game. To learn more about this job (fr) #ux #copywriting
5️⃣ Inventing on Principle • Feb 2012 • 54 min video
Bret Victor is one of my all-time favorite. In this 8 years old talk, he argues that discovery is part of creation, and that creators should have a direct link to theirs creations. Then explore what he could mean for a developer. If you ever developed something, prepare to be blown away! Amazing to see how little changed in such a long time, reminding us that the future is not evenly distributed or that best ideas don't always win. Worth a watch, at least the first 20min, you won't regret it #design #human
See you next week!
