💰 Money talks / PM Snacks 91
AI prompts I use everyday • Why talking about money is great as product builders • AI interfaces that augment skills • Learn to "repair" as a manager • And more...
Hey everyone,
Hope you had a wonderful summer. I was lucky enough to travel to Portugal & Switzerland. Meanwhile, if you haven’t heard, I launched AI Bites, a new publication on actionable AI for product builders.
This PM Snacks focuses on the practical stuff that actually moves the needle: framing product decisions in real money terms, AI tools that save hours of work, and core management skills nobody teaches.

Useful Prompts / AI Bites 01 • Jul 2025 • 10 min read • #AI #Execution
This summer I started a new publication: AI Bites, highlighting how I tinker with AI to create and improve products. The first edition was my most successful newsletter to date, so I have decided to continue. I’ll share hard-learned lessons, prompts, tools and actionable advice to either improve your product processes or use AI inside your product features. Expect an edition per month (next one in 2w). Subscribe to get notified 👇
In the first one you will learn how to leverage AI to write better prompts, how to delegate 90% of your competitive analysis to DeepResearch, and how to create a project that will help you scope down your product initiatives. I share tutorials, and even real chat conversations I used to write my prompts.

Finishing Our (Money) Sentences • Aug 2025 • 11 min read • #Communication
Rich Mironov calls out the brutal truth: if we’re not framing product decisions in terms of revenue, we’re just background noise to the C-suite. Even vague financial guesstimates beat perfect technical explanations every time.
- Use “money sentences” to anchor every major initiative: what’s the upside, what’s the risk, and what’s the opportunity cost in real currency?
- Remember: we’re not just building products, we’re making bets with real money. So we should become comfortable with blunt math (think 5-digit vs 8-digit, comparing order-of-magnitude, and quantifying opportunity costs).

Interfaces That Augment or Replace? • Aug 2025 • 5 min read • #AI #design
AI products are at a crossroads: do our interfaces empower users or quietly erode their skills? Zeh Fernandes explores how design choices in AI tools shape not just productivity but our very ability to think and learn.

The Management Skill Nobody Talks About • Aug 2025 • 5 min read • #AI #design
Screwing up as a manager is inevitable. The only question is whether you know how to repair the damage. Read more to discover this core management skill nobody teaches!
- Acknowledge specifics, take real responsibility, and don’t hide behind "context" or justifications.
- Don’t turn it into a therapy session. Make it about the team, focus on the impact and next steps.
- Consistency is everything. One apology means nothing if you keep repeating the same screwups. We need to change for real!

Most clicked link 1y ago in PM Snacks 84 about my go-to content for PM
Sylvain asked: Do you have any must-read, must-watch, must-listen (books, videos, podcasts)? How can I improve my product knowledge?
First, use a “map” like the one I created. Auto-assess your current knowledge, then focus on what can be improved. If this map is too simple, be sure to check the Product Map (super exhaustive) […] be sure to open the edition to read discover all my go-to content.

Great curation ! Also read Good Inside, the one they talk about on the management piece, and what I would add is that two things can be true at once; we can make a decision that is good on the long run but that will create friction now -- it's true/ok for the team to be displeased and true that its a good manoeuvre, both at the same time.
The money piece is spot on. Will work on a general conversion chart from product talk to money talk for our team. Inspiring!
